Dolphin browser brings Flash support to Lollipop in latest update

Dolphin browser brings Flash support to Lollipop in latest update:

Dolphin Browser Flash on Lollipop

The folks behind the Dolphin browser for Android continually prove themselves a talented bunch, producing a powerful browser packed full of great features. This time out, an update to their app brings Flash support to Android 5+ Lollipop devices and a good selection of enhancements for Android 4.x users too.

Dolphin Browser is an extremely popular Android web browser, which packs a mighty punch considering it is free in the Google Play Store.

The latest update has a changelog that includes a number of new features, such as Flash support for Android 5.0 Lollipop devices, which requires the Flash app to be installed, we’ll help you out with that, or just hit a Flash loaded page and Dolphin will send you in the right direction. Also included, the ability to use Dolphin Connect to sync your speed dials, add-ons, themes, settings and more between devices.

The new features do not stop there, Dolphin can now share pages between devices using NFC, has the ability to automatically clear app storage when the device is running low and, to celebrate the season, look for a few new Christmas themed wallpapers and themes.

On the list for improvements, Dolphin touts better gesture and sonar support, as well as a tweak to fix up the auto-hide function for the bottom bar.

The update began rolling out yesterday, look for version 11.3.4, or head on into the Google Play Store to get started with Dolphin web browser for Android and all of its add-ons.

What do you guys think about Flash elements on a website these days – are you excited for this Flash supporting update to Dolphin, or do you just shrug off Flash sites and go on with your day?
